Follow your own path by learning
You need to see to believe before you act. But first, you need to learn. Once you develop a love for learning you realise you can change and achieve, quite possibly, anything. And that is what motivates you to take action.
How do you learn? Learn by talking and sharing with those around you, actively listen. Not listening to answer, but listening to understand, appreciate and develop your understanding. Go out and study what you are passionate about. Travel, roam, and understand the world. Experience different cultures. Pay attention to life, and what people are mirroring back to you. Learn, then implement what you learn and share it wide. As you progress, bring people on the journey with you. Learn and share, a constant motivational tool to keep progressing.
Develop greater empathy, to understand the world better. Regularly ask what it must be like to be in another’s shoes, to truly understand their worldview. Seek the meaning behind what others are saying, sometimes it is what they don’t say. Do good and good will come back to you. Opportunities will come you way, ready for you to step forward.
Think for yourself, truly identify who you are and what makes you light up. In a world where it’s too easy to become like those around you – to follow the crowd - live your own life. Follow the dreams that are true to you, not what you think you should do. Design a life that excites you. Step out from the crowd and follow your own path.
Always remember to stay human in a digital age where everything is presented perfectly polished. Be ready to be vulnerable, to share your thoughts and feelings. Take down your social mask. Reveal your hopes, struggles, and flaws. As all this will allow you to grow.
As you learn, adapt, and connect to your dreams you will start to live a life with intention. You will start to believe and then see you are creating your own future. You are writing the next chapter of your story, then walking into it. Wide eye.
Don’t be afraid of stepping into the path that has always been waiting for you. And remember to have fun.
